![]() Management will always blame the other employees because we don't have a loud enough voice to say what's really going on. I thought I would write this review in the hope that it will help my former coworkers. Compare pay for popular roles and read about the team’s work-life balance. Get the inside scoop on jobs, salaries, top office locations, and CEO insights. This is what pushed me to quit, the lack of ability to grow in the company do to FAVORITISM. Find out what works well at ORBIS Corporation from the people who know best. HR in that building is a unreliable it's always someone new coming in because they can't keep the same person so you don't feel comfortable enough talking to them about the problems. Promotions sometimes aren't earned they're just given because you are "the favorite". You can't get on the bosses bad side or tell if something is wrong because you become the bad person. ![]() With that said management at orbis is out of control in the Georgetown location, you can be amazingly good at doing your job but if you aren't the supervisors favorite you won't be able to succeed. You need alot of physical strength and have to keep in mind it's 12hr shifts with only 3 breaks 3 15min and a lunch 30min it can get extremely hot inside the factory so if you can't handle a long time standing doing physical work in extreme weather this isn't the place for you. The average ORBIS Corporation salary ranges from approximately 84,304 per year for a Design Engineer to 119,576 per year for a Service Center Manager. I left because I wanted a short-term job and the weekly pay thru the temp agency.I worked at Orbis for a little more than a year, the job itself isn't too bad. Cons for the site itself is lots of turnover mainly because of attendance issues with new workers, a majority of workers influence carelessness, fair amount of overtime usually 10 hour days or Saturdays, voluntary overtime oftentimes gets flipped to mandatory with short notice for hire-ins, CEO was chill but the production managers come with whips for no reason as jobs were getting done well ahead of time, QC was strict.ĭefinitely worth it to somebody who wants a rather light duty job in a clean environment for decent pay in Mentor, people looking to enter a manufacturing setting, or those looking for a quick paycheck with an immediate start. I left because of the cons with the business itself - no PTO, not many floaters or vacation, strict point system. Saw it had changed majorly when I came back early this year the pay has been significantly increased to above satisfaction for the workload, 3rd shift is easy to get along with, lots of opportunities for advancement, my supervisor would handle situations properly, free lunches on Wednesdays. First time I was here years ago, it was insanely upbeat for the low pay back then and lots of drama, very hard to see a future. It is actually a very good place to work for this locality as of lately, mainly for the pay and low workload per covid. ![]() ORBIS specializes in offering the services, technology, expertise, processes and infrastructure to create and then manage a sustainable.
